I had an absolutely fantastic holiday that exceeded all my expectations! Everything was meticulously organized, the horses were exceptionally well cared for, and Emilio and Mamén are truly delightful people. Despite the challenging days, it was the perfect introduction to riding holidays. The stunning landscapes, delicious food, and charming rustic hotels all contributed to a flawless experience. Spending seven hours a day on the back of a wonderfully trained horse instills so much confidence that you can fully enjoy and relax without worries. The seamless organization, from Laure-Anne’s planning to Emilio and Mamén’s execution, allowed for a carefree experience without having to overthink anything before or during the vacation. I couldn’t have chosen a better “first” experience, and this sentiment was shared by riders who have been re-booking this trip for years. My inaugural experience with Outside the Corral was truly wonderful, and it certainly won’t be my last. Highly recommended for those who can handle long days in the saddle — DON’T HESITATE! Thank you for everything, Laure-Anne — I’ll be back!

I recently had the most extraordinary riding holiday that surpassed all expectations. The journey from Petra to Wadi Rum offered breathtaking scenery, providing an unparalleled sense of freedom in the expansive desert landscapes. I’m incredibly glad that I came across an article about Outside the Corral in Feeling, followed Laure-Anne’s wonderful Instagram page, scheduled a virtual coffee, and eventually booked this ride, which, in my opinion, ranks among the best in the world! Laure-Anne added a special touch to the experience; she was incredibly responsive, enthusiastically helped me with all my questions, and even provided several locations where I could get fit for the ride. Her guidance truly made the entire experience even more magical. Now, I’m left wondering whether to book one or two riding vacations with her next time!

What an absolute TOP holiday we have just had. We already contacted Laure–Anne last year for a trip to Ireland. Cross–country, bucket list item, but never dared to do it with our own horses. So ideal location… My husband, who does not do horse riding at all, was fortunately enthusiastic about Ireland and went along with my dream… All this was discussed with Laure–Anne via video call and our travel program could be adjusted accordingly. We chose to drive for 5 days (instead of 7), so that we could still spend the weekend together. After a long countdown, the time had finally come last week. Castle Leslie, there we came… In 1 word WOW !! I have had a fantastic week with the horses. Wonderful rides on the domain and expert feedback from the instructors during the indoor lessons. Many different horses ridden, each with their own character. In the meantime, my husband has had fun swimming/cycling/running in the area and has familiarized himself with the drink menu of the bar on the :-D domain Everything was arranged down to the last detail before we left and during the week Laure–Anne was always available for any questions and genuinely interested in how things were going for us. This trip will resonate in our dreams for a long time and we will definitely go back again!

After a 10-year riding break, I made the decision to return to horseback riding at Monte Velho, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The fantastic location, delicious food, and the camaraderie of the group, along with personalized dressage lessons and trail rides for each rider, ensured that I had an exceptional stay!
