After a 10-year riding break, I made the decision to return to horseback riding at Monte Velho, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The fantastic location, delicious food, and the camaraderie of the group, along with personalized dressage lessons and trail rides for each rider, ensured that I had an exceptional stay!

We had a wonderful riding holiday in Portugal with Outside the Corral. The location of Monte Velho Equo Resort is indescribably beautiful. The terrace has an incredible a view where you can see the horses galloping from the terrace. Also, I have never had a more beautiful view while sitting in the sauna. I can definitely recommend the trail rides. The trail horses are top notch and this way you get to know the surrounding area. Our guide always took us to the most beautiful spots. My biggest fear was that the horses would not be treated well, but nothing could be further from the truth. The horses are very well looked after. Lastly, Laure-Anne guided us very well. Even though it was our first riding holiday, we knew exactly what to expect. Definitely highly recommended!

I cannot personally recommend Outside the Corral more for your next horseback riding adventure. Laure-Anne was so incredibly kind and helpful in planning every step of the trip, making me feel confident that I was about to have one of the best holidays of my life, which I did! I personally did the castle estate ride in Ireland and she facilitated all of the booking providing me with a perfectly detailed itinerary that made everything so simple and stress free. I would without a doubt book through her again for my next riding trip and highly recommend her services for anyone looking for their next horseback riding adventure! I truly can not thank her enough!

I was extremely impressed with Laure-Anne’s guidance in helping me choose the perfect trip. It was fantastic how quickly I could communicate with her, and she provided me with a wealth of information. In the end, I embarked on an amazing journey to Iceland and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Laure-Anne had already warned me that once you experience a riding holiday, you become instantly hooked, and she was absolutely right! I’m already eagerly planning my next adventure, and, of course, I’ll be using Outside the Corral again.
