On this breathtaking, ten-day expedition, you will ride from the mountainous area with stunning views around Petra to the vast sandy plains and steep rock formations of Wadi Rum, a desert with a rich colour palette. On horseback, you will reach pristine areas far away from the tourist crowds and enjoy fast gallops with the wind in your hair. The expedition counts six days in the saddle. At the start and end of the trip, you will explore Jordan's most iconic sights, such as Petra, the Dead Sea and the mosaic city of Madaba, and be able to rest from the plane trip and the adventurous horseback expedition. An ideal combination that immerses you in both the pristine natural beauty (along with your four-legged travel companion), as the cultural richness of Jordan.

Eat, ride, sleep, repeat! That's the rhythm of this epic expedition through the desert of Wadi Rum. You'll camp in the wild for five nights, with delicious local food around cosy campfires and incredible views of the Milky Way. The silence of the desert at night is deafening. Your hostess Patricia and experienced guide Eid, along with a welcoming logistics team, welcome you like family and are only too happy to pamper you. A close bond will be built with your travelling companions and four-legged friends as you live this adventure together. You will stay the first and last two nights of the trip in comfortable hotels in Madaba and Petra. Your luggage will be transported in vehicles each day.
Guests ride mainly local breeds, a few thoroughbreds and some Arabian horses. They are not very big, but extremely strong and very capable of working in tough conditions. The horses are like 4x4s in the mountains and love a speedy gallop in the desert. Guests ride with English saddles and can help groom and saddle their own horses as they wish.
