The programme includes a mix of shorter days of riding with some sightseeing in the afternoon and full days of riding. More information

In the middle of the week, you’ll have the chance to pay an exciting visit to the Lipizzaner stud farm at Lipica, one of the oldest stud farms in the world! The itinerary also includes one non-riding day to Piran, a lovely old port town that has remnants of a medieval wall, protected as a cultural historical monument. On your last night you will head out with an experienced guide to a hunting observatory where, if you sit quietly and long enough, you may get to view wild bears!

Your hosted by an experienced family-run business, where your host Borut is incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife and an experienced wildlife tracker. Guests ride Quarter Horses, Warmbloods or Icelandic horses, who are very well-trained, relaxed and treated as part of the family. Most of the horses are ridden western-style with western saddles and long reins. For the Icelandic horses, English style saddles are used.

Your holiday base is a bed & breakfast in the small town of Trnje. The accommodation is comfortable and clean, but basic. Every room has a private bathroom, but it might not be en-suite. On this ride, you’ll enjoy delicious homemade Slovenian meals. Every morning a breakfast buffet is waiting for you. Lunch is taken on the trail, in a local pub or with a picknick in a beautiful setting. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to taste the delicious local wines.

Laure-Anne helped me make my dream trip come true. The perfect trip to discover Africa with great people! Before and during the trip I was always informed and could ask questions at any time. The only thing I had to arrange was the flight ticket and after that everything was arranged top notch! As a solo traveler, I did sometimes have my doubts, but Laure-Anne was always there to reassure me. A fantastic experience with professional guidance that was always available throughout the trip. I can't wait to book my next ride!

We were looking to go on a horse riding holiday (3 experienced riders) and Outside the Corral helped us pick the Tuli Safari in Botswana - it was an amazing, unique experience! Great sightings, very knowledgeable guides, good horses that were very well looked after, incredible camps, and not to forget the great service and food. Outside the Corral gave us a detailed itinerary with packing tips and for whatever questions we had left, they would reply immediately. If you’re looking for an incredible travel experience, I would 100% recommend booking with Outside the Corral!

I had a great trip to Iceland. Laure-Anne was very involved in my trip and gave good information beforehand. After I had the itinerary from her, my expectations were high, and it was even better than I had hoped. The partner in Iceland, Eldhestar, had everything done perfectly. The horses were in good spirits, which was very important to me, and had energy for ten. In short, a top experience!
From the idea of and all the way throughout the experience, I felt wonderfully guided by Outside the Corral. Laure-Anne helped me find just the trip I was hoping to have this April, right at the start of the season in Europe. Looking forward to my next one ahead! This time, I will take my dad and my sister with me. Can warmly recommend this agency.
