Thanks to Laure–Anne from Outside the Corral and her good advice, I had a great experience with a first horse riding holiday. Laure–Anne is very friendly, immediately presented me with some suitable options and was able to answer all my questions with great enthusiasm. I eventually chose Portugal in Alentejo. The introduction immediately felt familiar and personal and I couldn‘t wait to start my first solo trip. I also liked knowing that the destinations have been carefully chosen and that they are places where the horses are well cared for. In addition, it was very nice that Laure–Anne was able to organize this for me at short notice, I only had to arrange my ticket and could therefore travel last minute without any worries. The experience was completely in line with what Laure–Anne had told me about it. It was actually even more beautiful; the place, the friendly people and of course the fantastic, gentle Lusitano horses. I’ve been home for a few weeks now but I’m still reminiscing about this magical trip. I have rediscovered my passion and can’t wait to book my next riding holiday. I look back on this special adventure with very warm feelings!

My trip was really lovely! I was a little bit nervous as I have only travelled alone in the UK (I’m English myself so it was exactly the same as travelling around Belgium). But everything went smoothly, from the flight to picking up my car (I rented a car through Hertz, definitely recommended!). At check-in, everything went really perfectly too, I got a beautiful (and big!) room overlooking the garden. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making my solo trip feel a little less alone! The food is also mouth-watering, I still dream of the lamb dumplings…. The stables are the cleanest I have ever seen, the horses are treated with so much love and it shows. The riding lessons themselves always took place in the indoor arena, due to bad weather. I learnt so much during the lessons, for which my huge thanks to the instructor. This will definitely not be my last time to book with you, and who knows, maybe back to Poland. I would also like to thank you for the great care from start to finish!

In 2025, Outside the Corral gave me the most out-of-the-box riding holiday I could ever have imagined! I had my heart set on another horseback safari, but unfortunately the price was a bit beyond my budget this year. That’s when Laure-Anne suggested several tailor-made alternatives that were just as extraordinary and ones I would never have thought of myself.

So, at the beginning of June, my best friend and I headed to Iceland for a seven-day horseback trek alongside a herd of free-roaming horses. It was unbelievably beautiful, fun, and completely unique. A once-in-a-lifetime experience, you might think? Absolutely not! I’ll definitely be back for more, because Outside the Corral takes you to the most breathtaking places, with the most wonderful horses and the best company.

From choosing the destination to booking everything exactly the way you want it, from preparing and packing for the trip to the debriefing afterwards, the entire process is smooth, enjoyable and completely stress-free. Thank you, Laure-Anne, for making Iceland such an unforgettable experience for us. I’m already looking forward to many more adventures with Outside the Corral!

Laure-Anne from Outside the Corral has made a dream come true for me. Not only did I go to a beautiful country to hike for days with these beautiful animals, she encouraged me to realize my very first (!) vacation alone. The fact that those 2 things were allowed to come together was really a gift. It was a last-minute decision of mine: within 2 weeks I was already traveling! All my ideas came together in a trip to beautiful Slovenia. I made wonderful memories there and made new friends from all over the world. If I wanted to do something for myself again and combine this with my passion for horses; then Laure-Anne is under my speed dial!
