Designed organically, these cottages combine comfort with natural aesthetics, providing an ideal setting for a relaxing afternoon or starlit dinners. For those seeking a more rustic experience, there’s also the option to stay in a fly camp set up within the conservancy for a night under the stars. Accessible by game drive, horseback, or mountain bike, the camp is equipped with full linens, pillows, duvets, and a mess tent, including a fully stocked bar and lounge area. The activity which you choose, and the location of the wildlife, will dictate where the camp is set up. No two nights are the same and every set-up is unique.

What do others say?

I had a very nice equestrian holiday in Italy. The stay was soothing, green and idyllic. In addition, the staff and visitors were all very friendly. You do need a rental car, because the location is remote and there is hardly any public transport/taxis. The horses were reliable and the outdoor rides were beautiful. The booking of the trip with Laure–Anne went smoothly. She responded quickly, adequately and is very attentive. I think the website is well put together and is nicer than those of other organizations. I would definitely book a trip with Outside the Corral again for a next holiday!

Laure-Anne from Outside the Corral paid attention to my holiday wishes from the very first moment. She took care of a proper preparation and literally took me on a journey to my holiday destination. During the entire stay in Spain, the horses and guests were well taken care of. We rode in a beautiful area with a diversity of scenery, from flat countryside, valleys to steep cliffs. We spent six to seven hours in the saddle per day and during the breaks we enjoyed delicious tapas and traditional local dishes. Lunches were lavish picnics, each day in a unique spot, in the middle of nature. Living so close to nature feels very exclusive. The experience of a Michelin restaurant can hardly compete with this. ;-) The composition of the group was amazingly good. Our group consisted of ladies, various age groups, and we interacted in a casual way. The holiday exceeded my expectations. It was truly fantastic and can highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful riding holiday in Portugal with Outside the Corral. The location of Monte Velho Equo Resort is indescribably beautiful. The terrace has an incredible a view where you can see the horses galloping from the terrace. Also, I have never had a more beautiful view while sitting in the sauna. I can definitely recommend the trail rides. The trail horses are top notch and this way you get to know the surrounding area. Our guide always took us to the most beautiful spots. My biggest fear was that the horses would not be treated well, but nothing could be further from the truth. The horses are very well looked after. Lastly, Laure-Anne guided us very well. Even though it was our first riding holiday, we knew exactly what to expect. Definitely highly recommended!

Booking a trip with Outside the Corral was a wonderful experience.
